Using MeritCue

These terms apply when you use MeritCue, create an account, or pay for a plan. MeritCue is independent prep for the digital PSAT/NMSQT Reading and Writing section.
Who can use MeritCue
MeritCue is for high-school students (typically sophomores and juniors) and their parents. It is not directed at children under 13. If a student is under 18, a parent should agree to these terms and should be the person who pays.

MeritCue is not affiliated with or endorsed by College Board or National Merit Scholarship Corporation; PSAT/NMSQT and SAT are trademarks of their owners.
Passages and items are original. MeritCue does not use College Board forms or Bluebook.
MeritCue does not promise a score, National Merit recognition, or admission outcomes. The path toward 760 is a practice aim, not a predicted PSAT/NMSQT score.
Accounts and privacy
Guest mode keeps progress on this device. Creating an account stores email, grade year, progress, and payment status in the United States (AWS US East (N. Virginia) / us-east-1). See Privacy for what we collect and how to delete it.
Classroom rostering is not part of this product. MeritCue does not collect a school, a district, a class list, or a gradebook.
You are responsible for the email and password on the account. Do not share the password. If you cannot log in, recover the account from the login screen. MeritCue sends one email to the address already on the account so you can choose a new password. That recovery does not create a second account, and it does not ask for a phone number. You can delete your data at /account or by emailing support@meritcue.com.
Free, the season pack, and the monthly plan
Free includes a mixed diagnostic and limited daily practice. The season pack is $69, one payment, and lasts one year from the purchase date. The monthly plan is $12.99, billed each month. Payment runs through Stripe. MeritCue does not store card numbers.
Refunds and cancellation
A full refund is available within 7 days of purchase for either the season pack ($69) or the first Monthly payment ($12.99). Email support@meritcue.com to request it. Paid access ends when the refund is issued. Later Monthly renewals are not refunded.
You can cancel Monthly at any time by emailing support@meritcue.com. After you cancel, access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Then the account returns to Free.
